It's Beginning To Look Like Christmas

We don't have allot of Christmas decorations partly due to our move where a box must have fell off the truck or something because I can't find it. Every time we move this seems to happen, it's kinda like socks in the dryer ya know. Anyway, despite not having much to work with and having a much larger home to decorate I have managed to make it feel a little like Christmas around here. Here's a peek at our decorations.

The tree is up and here is my favorite ornament:

Christmas

I picked up this wreath at a local yard sale for $2.00. The woman I bought it from had started to decorate it so I just removed her decorations and added my own. I love the way it came out. The gold hanger also came from a yard sale, it was $.50.

Wreath

It was a super simple project. I picked up the faux holly berries and the Christmas scented pine cones at Wal-mart and pulled out my trusty glue gun to attach everything.

Wreath

I wrapped pre-lit garland all along the handrails on the stairs and then added little red bows to each banister .

Christmas

It came out simple yet when lit it's so beautiful!

Stairs

Another yard sale find, for $2.00 or so. Brooke loves this one so we had to have it.
I like the "homemade" look to it.

Along The Mantel

Here is our nativity set which my sister and brother in law gifted to us. I love that it is all white :)

Thank You Liz

Believe it or not I picked these little guys up at Publix for $1.99 each! They have a home on the mantel in the family room and have become my absolute favorite decorations.

Well that's all for now, I hope to put more up as we go and will definitely be purchasing "on sale" decorations after Christmas for next year.

I am coming by late on the Christmas tour but so glad to come by your lovely home. Love your wreath...you did a great job...it is so lush-looking.Also love the red door! And I love your little deer from Publix...is that a grocery store?? We don't have those around Arkansas but I have heard of it before somewhere. Thanks for letting me come by and hope you will come by my place! Blessings for a Happy new year!
